The 2.02 vacant City Science site in Glasgow's Merchant City is to be the 'hub' location for the International Technology Renewable Energy Zone (ITREZ). The £100m first phase will consist of the University's Technology Innovation Centre (TIC) and the Scottish Enterprise Industry Engagement Building (IEB). The TIC will be a centre of excellence for academic research commercialisation and industry collaboration with the IEB providing Grade A office space for the co-location of companies collaborating with the University and industrial partners.
