The 2.02 hectare site owned by Scottish Enterprise will create an urban business quarter for science and technology developed in the heart of Glasgows Merchant City. The site, adjacent to the University of Strathclyde, will offer commercial floor space of approximately 40,000 sq m. It will incorporate underground parking, 128 residential flats with supporting ground floor retail and leisure. A new street and public square has already been created preparing the site for development. The CZWG Architects master plan comprises a series of buildings/development plots and detailed planning consents have been granted for two buildings designed by Architects BDP and Page and Park.
