A planning application has been submitted for the redevelopment of George House, George Square, Glasgow. The developer will seek to transform the existing 1970s office block into an "iconic landmark". The new office block would occupy half of the northern face of George Square. The proposed new building would create 26,500 sq m of office space, possible active ground floor uses and the potential for a terraced restaurant and convention facilities.
