The Collegelands development, which is the largest new-start regeneration project in the UK this year, will see a first phase development of 102,000 sq ft of office space, a 200 bedroom hotel with restaurant and meeting rooms and also student accommodation offering 640 bed spaces.

The scheme will generate a major boost to Scotland’s economy, including 3,000 gross additional jobs once the site is fully developed, £110m per annum to the economy and 1,100 construction jobs over the build period.

Collegelands is expected to be fully operational by summer 2011
