A new £6m luxury hotel celebrating Glasgow’s maritime heritage is planned for Sauchiehall Street. Planning permission has been secured for the 70 bedroom hotel which will occupy the five storeys next to Victoria’s night club. All 70 bedrooms will have a nautical theme and the hotel will also boast a distinctive rooftop Sky Bar.
