Location: James Watt Street, Glasgow G2 8NF

As well as two office buildings, the Atlantic Square project will see a six storey, 150 bedroom hotel built on the site between James Watt Street and York Street. A public square will also be created along with shops and leisure facilities, also including a health club and conference centre.

The developers, Capella Group, will retain the A-listed warehouse facade on James Watt Street, built in the mid-19th century.

Planning permission in principal was granted in October 2009 for the project together with detailed approval for Atlantic Square Building 1.
