Regional Selective Assistance
Regional Selective Assistance (RSA) is the main investment grant scheme for business in designated areas of Scotland (the 'assisted areas'). Most of Glasgow benefits from assisted area status and you could qualify for funding towards an investment project which will create or safeguard jobs.

Scottish Seed Fund (SSF)
The SSF offers investment between £20,000 and £100,000 to start-up and expand young, growing companies.Aimed at businesses which have a high potential for growth by launching new products, breaking into new markets or boosting employment.

Scottish Co-Investment Fund (SCF)
The SCF is an equity investment fund established by Scottish Enterprise, partly funded the the European Regional Development Fund, to invest from £100,000 to £1 million in company financial deals up to £2 million.

Scottish Venture Fund (SVF)
Invests between £500,000 and £2 million, alongside private sector partners, in company finance deals of between £2 million and £10 million.

Scottish Loan Fund (SLF)
The SLF is a new fund targeted at growing and exporting businesses which has been introduced by the Scottish Investment Bank. It is open for loans from eligible businesses across Scotland. It can provide loans of between £250,000 and £5m to companies with an annual turnover above £1m that demonstrate growth or export potential. Commonwealth Jobs Fund
The Commonwealth Jobs Fund is a new fund which aims to create 1,000 new jobs in Glasgow by July 2012. This scheme will be aimed at people aged 18-24 who have been unemployed for more than 6 months and who live in Glasgow. Commonwealth Graduate Fund Companies in Glasgow are invited to participate in a new £10m scheme to provide 1000 jobs for graduates. The Commonwealth Graduate Fund will pay employers 50% of the salary costs for graduates they take on, up to a maximum of £10,000 per graduate for one year.
